to offer their NF331 as an ideal replacement for traditional
asbestos compounds.
This compound is
easily fabricated using conventional shop equipment such as
band saws, drill presses and fly cutters. For maximum blade
life, grit band saw blades are recommended.
NF331 is kind to
mating members, exhibits long life, and is compatible in oil.
It exhibits a stable coefficient of friction of 0.5 over a
wide range of operating temperatures up to 600°F.
