Redco 3915 is a
new improved flexible molded lining incorporating random dispersed
fibers to substantially increase rivet holding strength. It
is still recommended, as with any flexible molded, to heat
treat the lining for maximum strength. The lining, however,
may be riveted without heat treating if care is taken in exerting
gentle stops during initial break-in. This is normal good
operating practice for any brake lining.
Redco 3915 flexible molded has undergone extensive field testing in severe services,
such as forklift trucks, without failure.
